Abstract

Young men under 25 years of age feel least lonely. Feelings of loneliness increase for both men and women with age and elderly women feel the loneliest. There are also some ethnic differences. Russian-speaking women living in towns feel most lonely when we take also ethnicity and the place of residence into account.
